Pattersons is a Pacific based studio for Architecture, Planning and Design. The practice’s philosophy of appurtuancy can be seen in the way they work. It is essentially one open space, shared equally by everyone, free of subdivision to encourage communication between the people who come together there. The practice does an enormous range of work from large construction, Urban Design and Development Planning to large and small residential and alteration commissions.

Belgian photographer Filip Dujardin makes images of unexpected buildings – that is, he "combines photographs of parts of buildings into new, fictional, architectonic structures".
The resulting projects look like old factory sites in the American rust belt – Mark describes them as "informal and often dilapidated structures with unspecified functions" – or, in some cases, new projects by LOT-EK, Simon Ungers, or OMA.
